About the Role

HARMAN’s diverse portfolio of businesses and customers offers interns a great opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of projects and practices. As a member of our team, you will gain practical experience in global supply chain and operations. This role supports initiatives focused on optimizing processes and improving efficiency across the supply chain. Projects may include end-to-end analysis of supply chain costs to identify savings opportunities and improve efficiency, vendor performance improvement, and warehouse optimization. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure readiness for key project milestones.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze vendor, warehouse, and customer performance to identify trends and support process optimization and cost reduction
  • Lead and support the information-gathering phase to evaluate project feasibility
  • Lead stakeholder meetings, capture decisions, and ensure timely completion of follow-up tasks
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and documentation, including statements of work, deliverables, and lessons learned

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Sophomore year or later, or graduate/Ph. D program at an accredited institution taking at least one class in the semester prior to the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
  • Degree must be in related area of work with courses in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related fields.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders
  • Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Previous entry level work experience strongly preferred
  • Strongly prefer candidates who live within a commutable distance
  • ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.)
  • Integration knowledge (API, EDI, middleware, etc.)
  • Database and reporting: SQL, data modeling, Qlik, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Power BI)

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to work in an office in Northridge
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
  • Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work
  • Must provide proper work authorization
  • Must provide work availability from 12 weeks between May 2026 - August 2026 and be able to work 40 hours per week

Pay Transparency 

Freshman: $19.00 
Sophomore: $21.00 
Junior: $23.00 
Senior: $24.00   
Master: $28.00  
 

Dependent on the internship offered, pay is based on factors, including without limitation, the applicant's level of education and business need.
