About the Role
HARMAN’s diverse portfolio of businesses and customers offer interns a great opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of projects and practices. As a member of our team, your primary role will be to assist with the management of supply planning and inbound material activities within HARMAN Lifestyle Consumer Audio. You will lead the analysis of supply trends, purchasing opportunities, and identifying optimal stock levels for our diverse product portfolio. Effectively managing finished goods inventory in a manner consistent with high-level customer service initiatives and the business financial plan
What You Will Do
- Develop a universal Inbound Logistics/Supply Projection Template
- Assist with mitigating supply shortages and excess inventory
- Ensure all inbound forwarder lane combinations have a rate maintained with Procurement/4PL
- Review inbound forwarder billing vs rate card to facilitate auditing
- Develop reporting to measure Supply KPI performance
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Demand Planning teams to identify process improvement opportunities between demand and supply.
What You Need
- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Sophomore year or later, or graduate/Ph.D. program at an accredited institution taking at least one class in the semester prior to the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
- Degree must be in related area of work with courses in Supply Chain management
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders
- Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excel proficiency
What is Nice to Have
- Previous entry level work experience strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills, experience working with large volumes of data and performing quantitative analysis.
What Makes You Eligible

Be willing to work in an office/hybrid schedule in Northridge, CA.

Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work.

Must possess unrestricted work authorization.

Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

Must provide full work availability from May 19, 2025 through August 8, 2025 and be able to work 40 hours per week

Pay Transparency
Freshman: $19.00
Sophomore: $21.00
Junior: $23.00
Senior: $24.00
Master: $28.00
Dependent on the internship offered, pay is based on factors, including without limitation, the applicant's level of education and business need.
