This internship provides hands-on exposure to supplier quality processes, continuous improvement methodologies, and data-driven decision making within a global manufacturing environment.
Students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent field of study will be well-positioned to excel in this role.Responsibilities Include:
Collect, organize, and analyze supplier quality and performance data from multiple sources.
Evaluate supplier performance trends related to quality, delivery, responsiveness, and corrective actions.
Assist in root cause analysis of supplier response to Performance scorecards
Review and update supplier master data to add a Quality Contact for each supplier.
Support supplier corrective action tracking and follow-up activities.
Complete reports and project presentations outlining analysis, findings, and recommendations.
Drive and support the raw material Out of Specification (OOS) inflow reduction process.

Strong analytical skills.
Interest in quality, manufacturing, and supply chain operations for a chemical plant.
Attention to detail - ability to document new processes and procedures.
Self-starter - Proactively identify new opportunities to drive efficiencies in Supplier Product Quality and Service Quality.
Strong cross functional collaboration skills for interactions with Global Supplier Quality, Site Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.
Strong Computer skills including Excel, and Power point. Minitab or other statistical analysis tool preferred.
Education Requirement:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent field of study.
Program Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.
