STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Resilience Intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our multidisciplinary professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to projects focused on resilient and sustainable infrastructure. This position supports consulting and planning efforts across climate risk assessment, resilience strategy development, and infrastructure planning initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of studies that evaluate resilient and sustainable design strategies, climate risks, preparedness measures, and recovery approaches for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Assist in developing grant applications or other funding and financing strategies for resilience projects by conducting background research, helping prepare benefit-cost analyses, compiling supporting materials, and ensuring submissions meet all required criteria and guidelines.
- Under the guidance of a Manager, help coordinate a variety of discipline-specific tasks that require strong planning, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Contribute to consulting efforts that help public agencies implement resilience or sustainability strategies, including preparing materials for state and local agency reviews.
- Work collaboratively with practice and corporate leaders to support client development, business development activities, and participation in industry events or initiatives.
Required:
- Master of Science degree in planning, engineering, environmental, sustainability, urban resilience, or similar curriculum
- Experience with data management and analysis, along with other performance monitoring systems preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Compensation Range:
