The Corporate IT Team is seeking an intern for the 10-week onsite Summer 2026 Internship Program at Live Oak Bank in Wilmington, NC.

How This Role impacts Live Oak and its People

Here at Live Oak Bank, we strive to journey on the frontiers of bleeding edge technology. Not only will an IT Intern gain valuable experience with tried-and-true industry standard applications and methodologies, but he or she will also get the opportunity to leverage new technologies that will revolutionize how business is done in the FinTech space. This role will shape how our internal users and direct customers do business and has the potential to shape how banking is done globally.

What You’ll Do at Live Oak

You will be responsible for building and supporting workflow automations at the Bank.

How You’ll Do It

· Work closely with the Corporate IT teams on assigned projects

· Utilize Microsoft 365 apps, Freshservice, and AI tools to provide innovative accelerators

Required and Preferred Experience

· Experience with Microsoft 365 or Freshservice preferred

· Familiarity with AI and trending tools

· Familiarity with basic software engineering concepts

· Some familiarity with banking applications and support systems

· Strong communication and customer service skills

The base pay range for this position is $19.23 - $31.25 per hour. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy. A candidate’s salary is determined by several factors including travel, relevant work experience or skills and expertise.
