Product Development Intern, Beauty
Work Period: Mid May through Mid August
Location: Onsite in Needham, MA. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.
The Product Development organization within SharkNinja drives our global product roadmap from concept to shelf through the constant lens of the consumer. We are the "product CEOs" and partner cross-functionally with almost every other team within the company to drive high satisfaction for our end user and to drive business results. We are comprised of individuals from a variety of professional and educational backgrounds, from product marketing managers to consumer-focused engineers - but we all have one thing in common: we're consistently striving to deliver a 5-star experience for every customer on every product we bring to market.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the Shark product development teams with the development of successful and profitable programs for key products to ensure continued growth of the product portfolio - you will be responsible for activities that support new product development, including driving product decisions, conducting user research, and partnering with Engineers, Marketers, and more to ensure we create five-star products
- Assist with defining, developing, and iterating product specifications, marrying consumer wants/needs, white space in the market, and product technologies as the primary consumer advocate
- Build competitive product analyses, giving your business partners insight into how Shark stacks up against the competition - and maintaining a clear lens on how we can make Shark the consumer's top choice every time
- Partner with SharkNinja Testing and Quality organizations to define, develop, and manage quality and performance testing procedures
Act as the product "expert" for cross-functional team member questions and concerns
