Graphic Design Intern
Work Period: May to August 2025
Location: Mississauga, Canada. This is no housing assistance or relocation for this position.

Position Summary:
As the Graphic Design Intern, you'll be a vital support to our marketing department, contributing across various channels like print, digital, video, and more as needed. Under the guidance of the Creative Manager, you'll assist in crafting and customizing media assets, creative content, event materials, retail collateral, and other assigned projects. This role provides an invaluable chance to immerse yourself in a dynamic creative environment and refine your graphic design abilities. We're seeking a passionate individual who thrives in a lively, imaginative space, embraces innovative ideas, and has a true hunger for personal and professional advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of visual content for digital and print platforms, including social media graphics, marketing materials, presentations, and advertisements.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts and execute designs that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.
- Support the production process by preparing files for print and digital distribution.
- Research current design trends and best practices to ensure designs are innovative and relevant.
- Maintain organized files and adhere to project timelines to ensure timely delivery of assets.
- Take direction and feedback from team to refine designs and improve overall quality.
- Engage proactively and nurture positive relationships with our production agencies, translation partners, and various global departments across the organization.
- Assist with other design-related tasks and projects as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong design portfolio showcasing creative and technical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of print production processes and file formats.
- Passion for design and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with video editing software is a plus but not necessary.
