Subsidiary Payments Sales Manager - Associate

Job Description
As a Payments Sales Manager Associate in Payments Corporate Sales team, you will focus primarily on generating new Transaction Banking / Treasury Services business from covering the subsidiaries of overseas MNCs operating in Japan. We are looking for an exceptional individual with the ability to grow our footprint and ensure we continue to deliver a best-in-class service on behalf of our clients. The PSM will be primarily responsible for growing and developing our treasury services, merchant services and trade business with existing and prospective clients, to provide innovative and transformative solutions to our clients to better manage their treasury operations and working capital. The PSM is expected to build pipeline and achieve new business sales goals through effective account planning, strong relationships and implementation of sophisticated selling strategies.
Job responsibilities

• Lead the sales of the entire Payments product suite/solution, including treasury services which covers core cash clearing, liquidity management and foreign exchange solutions; merchant services and trade & working capital.
• Partner closely with parent Headquarter (HQ) and country coverage team to drive effort to expand existing business with current clients and proactively identify and align target prospective clients on delivering new Payments revenue.
• Understand the unique challenges and requirements in the industry/client segment and partner with internal stakeholders in the development, implementation and delivery of complex products and solutions
• Build trusted, long-term Payments business relationships by taking a holistic and forward-looking view on our relationships, and identifying ways to help clients achieve their most important business/treasury objectives
• Engage clients at strategic levels to provide integrated treasury solutions within a consultative and client driven framework
• Create strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues, incorporating best practices, benchmarking, opportunity quantification and solution positioning
• Lead and coordinate regional Request For Proposals (RFP's) with parent HQ and country coverage team

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Payments/Treasury Service sales with proven ability to build and develop client relationships, win and close new businesses.
• Solid knowledge in cash & liquidity management products and understanding of compliance and Know Your Client (KYC) processes
• Strong selling, negotiation and influencing skills
• Strong partnership skills with internal and external stakeholders
• The ability to read, write and speak English and Japanese fluently is a prerequisite
