MISSION : As part of the transformation and modernization of its infrastructures and applications, Michelin is seeking a Level 2 technical expert on X86/VMware & VMS/OpenVMS systems. Within the EDGE team, integrated into the infrastructure and application teams of the Information Systems Department, you will join a group of technical experts and architects organized in a project or agile mode to help deliver the best solutions or products to its users.
Main Tasks
Oversee the development and implementation of automated construction, testing, and operation procedures (IaC) for perimeter solutions.
Collaborate with other teams on the design and implementation of more complex products such as application solutions.
Write architecture documents and Architecture Decision Records with reference Product Architect.
Manage the catalog (CMDB) and oversee inventories of solution components within the perimeter.
Provide Level 3 support (SNOW) and monitor technological trends for the solutions within the perimeter.
Team Life

Participate in workload estimations for topics (project tasks or Agile sprints).

Theoretical Skills
Proficiency in the VMWare vSphere/VCF virtualization suite (ESX, NSX, vSAN, ARIA).
Proficiency in the VMS/OpenVMS system (VAX, DEC Alpha) & emulation solutions (Stromasys Charon), AVT VT Solution).
Very good knowledge in Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu).
Very good knowledge in Windows Server operating systems (2003 to 2022).
Good knowledge of storage and backup systems (VEEAM, RUBRIK, WASABI).
Knowledge of networks.
Operational Skills and Behavioral Traits
