Job description:

Constructor University is looking for a qualified and motivated Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop the online course Computer Graphics for the Fall Semester 2025. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity suited for individuals with strong academic backgrounds in Computer Science and an interest in digital education.

About the Course: Computer Graphics introduces students to the fundamental concepts, algorithms, and techniques behind the digital creation and manipulation of 3D visual content. Topics include 3D geometry modelling, transformations, rendering, animation, and programming with a mainstream graphics library such as OpenGL. The module is a mandatory elective course for Applied Computer Science students in their third year and prepares them for a final written exam (120 minutes).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the entire asynchronous online course (Module Component) referencing the Handbook and any existing course material, adhering to the contractual deadlines

  • Align course materials with Quality Assurance standards for online teaching as defined by Constructor University

  • Review and approve final build of module and assessments (by DEU staff) in the learning management system

  • Show tolerance and openness suited to working in an international and diverse environment

Your qualification:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, preferably with a specialization in Computer Graphics

  • Experience in teaching or instructional design is welcomed

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written), the language of instruction and communication

  • Familiarity with OpenGL or similar graphics frameworks is advantageous

  • Strong communication skills and openness to working in a diverse, international academic environment​
