About the role
The Studios Video Specialist will be responsible for shooting and editing video content to support a range of initiatives, including social media content, customer education videos, promos, brand campaigns, events, activations, and partnerships. You will also collaborate with freelance video creators, editors, and external production studios to deliver high-quality, on-brand video content for various projects.
As part of the in-house GoTyme Studios team, the Video Specialist will play a key role in producing engaging and polished videos that align with the bank’s brand guidelines and achieve marketing objectives.
- Plan, shoot, and edit always-on video content for social media, ensuring alignment with platform-specific best practices.
- Produce videos for customer education, brand campaigns, promotions, events, and partnerships that effectively deliver key messages.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop concepts, storyboards, and production plans for video content.
- Work closely with freelancers and external production studios to oversee video creation, ensuring consistency with the bank’s creative direction and quality standards.
- Use professional video equipment, lighting, and audio tools for in-house shoots, delivering high-quality results.
- Edit and post-produce videos, ensuring seamless transitions, sound design, and color grading to create captivating deliverables.
- Explore and integrate creative AI tools into the production workflow for efficiency.
- Manage relationships with external partners and provide creative input and direction for outsourced projects.
- Stay updated on video production trends, tools, and techniques to bring fresh and innovative ideas to all content.
- Ensure all video assets adhere to the bank’s brand guidelines and compliance requirements.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Advertising
- Proven experience in video production, including shooting and editing, with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects across campaigns and platforms.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar programs.
- Experience operating professional cameras and related equipment, including lighting and audio tools.
- Ability to create engaging, channel-specific content for social media platforms(e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to manage workflows with internal teams, freelancers, and external partners.
- Experience coordinating with freelance creators and production studios to oversee outsourced project quality and timelines.
- A strong eye for detail, storytelling, and creativity in both shooting and editing.
- Experience producing content for activations, events, and partnerships is a plus.
- Openness to train for proficiency on creative AI tools.
