JOB TITLE:  UX Design Principal

We are looking for a UX professional with deep capabilities in user research, design thinking, rapid prototyping, and visual design, with strong proficiency in Figma. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end user experience activities—from discovery and insights generation to prototyping and supporting implementation with developers and product managers. This role requires a balance of analytical research skills, creative design craft, and collaborative execution.

Key Responsibilities

UX Research

  • Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research methods including interviews, usability testing, diary studies, A/B tests, heuristic evaluations, and surveys.
  • Synthesize research findings into insights, personas, journey maps, and design recommendations.
  • Advocate for user-centered decision-making and ensure insights directly influence product strategy.

Design Thinking & Problem Framing

  • Facilitate and contribute to design thinking workshops, ideation sessions, and cross-functional problem-solving activities.
  • Translate complex or ambiguous challenges into structured frameworks such as user journeys, opportunity maps, and concept models.
  • Communicate problem framing and solution rationale clearly to diverse stakeholders.

UX Prototyping & Visual Design

  • Create wireframes, interaction flows, high-fidelity prototypes, and visual UI designs using Figma as the primary tool.
  • Rapidly iterate prototypes to validate user needs and test usability early in the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure visual designs follow branding guidelines, accessibility standards (WCAG), and design-system principles.

Collaboration With Product & Engineering

  • Work closely with product managers to define user needs, business goals, feature requirements, and success metrics.
  • Partner with engineering teams to translate designs into implementable specifications, provide design documentation, and support during development.
  • Perform design QA to ensure the final product matches the intended user experience and visual quality.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in UX research, UX design, or interaction design (adjustable by level).
  • Strong proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototypes, design systems, and UI design.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting user research and translating insights into product decisions.
  • Solid command of interaction design principles, visual hierarchy, responsive design, and usability principles.
  • Experience working in Agile and collaborating with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to present concepts at varying levels of fidelity.
