An exciting opportunity is available at our Newton Abbot studio for a Studio Assistant. This role is based on a flexible contract with 6 guaranteed hours per week, working Mondays and Fridays from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. In addition to these regular hours, the successful candidate will be expected to provide additional cover for holidays and annual leave as required. Flexibility to work occasional extra shifts, including evenings and weekends when needed, is essential.
As a Studio Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the studio by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and assisting with sales and stock replenishment. You’ll work closely with the Studio Manager and team to ensure the studio is welcoming, safe and operating smoothly at all times.
What we are looking for:
Essential
- Previous customer-facing experience
- English GCSE or equivalent qualification / demonstrable communication skills
- Experience working towards a goal or target, demonstrated through previous roles or education
- Ability to attend mandatory training
- Examples of good time management
- Motivation to succeed and take on new challenges
Desirable
- Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment
- Experience or interest in the health and beauty industry
- Experience cleaning and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
