Job summary
The purpose of the job is to manage and support students in relation to their educational experience and the tutors in relation to support, development and production of programmes, including students attendance, lessons timetables, preparation and distribution to students of the “Welcome pack”, certificates and general services.
Special attention will be given to satisfaction targets.
Key purpose of the role
- To assist in preparation of the induction and to be responsible for the start of the year “Welcome Pack”
- To monitor students’ attendance with the attendance officer to anticipate any potential issues and take the necessary steps in accordance with UKVI rules and regulations
- To monitor and respond to academic services inbox within 12 hours and seek assistance when needed.
- To prepare and issue school letters with the assistance of reception
- To record “Exceptional factors” letters
- To record and monitor students’ performance level with attendance, SAS Manager, and DoE
- To schedule Timetables for the Academic Year
- To reschedule lessons in the academic calendar approved by DoE.
- To manage and carry out appointments with students with the support of SAS Manager
- To prepare disciplinary letters under the guidance of the SAS Manager
- To manage complaints and grievances under the guidance of the SAS Manager
- To prepare diplomas/certificates documentation for the diploma ceremony
- To prepare timetables for all courses and programmes with the support of PL’s, DoE, and SAS Manager
- To be an active member of the team available to support staff in critical times of the year
- To participate in the organisation of key School events and meetings
- To work closely with the relevant departments in order to support the organisation of seminars and projects (as required)
Education and skills
- Bachelors’ Degree
- Previous experience working in the academic sectors is highly desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service ethos and a high level of patience
- Team-player and willing to collaborate and contribute to the work of the wider team
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritise own workload and co-ordinate tasks to meet deadlines
- Familiar with local immigration requirements
- Interest in and basic knowledge of Fashion & Design
