In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- List the areas of responsibility

• Preparing chemical solutions and laboratory materials

• Assisting in laboratory maintenance

• Preparing sample shipments

• Assisting in training, workshops, and scientific events for clients

• Assisting in planning, preparation, and execution of laboratory experiments with enzymes and microorganisms

Potentially relevant experience:
- List screening criteria

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program

• Expected graduation between June 2026 and December 2026

• Desired courses: Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agronomic Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or similar courses

• Ability to read and write in English (emails, documents, procedures, presentations) is a plus

• Technical knowledge criteria:

  • Relevant experience of 1 year in a laboratory setting (e.g., internship or scientific research)

  • Experience in preparing chemical solutions, handling chemicals, conducting dilutions, and operating laboratory equipment

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Additional qualifications:

  • Fluent proficiency in English and/or Spanish is a plus

  • Experience in animal health and nutrition analyses, compositional analysis of plant materials, enzymatic hydrolysis, or microbial experiments is a plus

  • Statistical analysis experience is a plus

  • Programming skills (e.g., Python) and knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, or Tableau are considered as differentiators

• Expected behavioral traits:

  • Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and capable of working independently as well as in a small team

  • Effective communication skills for interactions with clients

  • Adaptability to varying demands and priorities
