WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR JOB?
As a Structural Risk Reporting Analyst, your role will focus on the development, automation, and optimization of data processes supporting the execution and analysis of regulatory liquidity ratios for Santander SA, SCF, and the consolidated Santander Group. You will actively contribute to the validation, transformation, and reporting of data, ensuring robust controls and high-quality outputs for internal and regulatory stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in SQL development, who is comfortable working with Databricks and big data environments, and who is also eager to contribute to the digital transformation of our reporting tools and processes. Experience or interest in Power BI will be considered a plus.
We need someone like you to help us in different areas:
- Development and optimization of data pipelines and reporting processes using SQL and Databricks
- Execution, control, and analysis of regulatory liquidity ratios (LCR, NSFR, AMM, etc.)
- Ensuring data traceability and integrity across the full reporting lifecycle
- Collaborating with internal teams (Risk, Technology, Operations) and interacting with regulators
- Supporting process automation and continuous improvement initiatives
EXPERIENCE
- Experience of minimum 3 years with data management in financial markets on the banking industry
- Proven experience working with SQL in complex data environments
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar big data tools
EDUCATION
- STEM profile (Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, etc.) with a strong digital mindset
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Advanced SQL development skills (mandatory)
- Databricks and big data platform experience
- Knowledge of data modeling and data quality control
- Familiarity with financial products and Basel liquidity ratios is a strong plus
- Valuable: Experience with Power BI for dashboarding and data visualization
- Proficient in Excel, VBA, and Office tools
- High level of English (spoken and written)
