Boeing Technology Innovation (BTI) looking for a Structural Repair Engineer (Associate, Mid-Level, or Senior) based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including associate, mid-level and senior level engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Project Management Skills: Manage cross-functional projects, overseeing the development of test plans, budget and schedule management, and coordinating with external customers.
  • Hands-On Experience: Engage in hands-on work, including the fabrication and repair of composite materials, as well as the assembly of structural components.
  • Process and Material Development: Develop and improve processes and materials used in the fabrication and repair of composite aircraft structures.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Innovate and enhance technology, driving advancements across Boeing.
  • Production Support: Assist production in addressing emergent issues and facilitate the transition of technology improvements into production and in-service applications.
  • Presentation Skills: Present project results and technologies to internal teams and external groups, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Mentoring and Development: Mentor team members, support employee development, and share your expertise, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience with composite materials and processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ year of experience with composite repair
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate
  • Hands on composites and assembly skills

Summary pay range for associate (level 2): $88,400 - $119,600
Summary pay range for mid-level (level 3): $107,100 - $144,900
Summary pay range for senior (level 4): $129,200 - $174,800
