The Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Capital Stress Testing team resides within the CIB Planning and Analysis (P&A) team. This team partners with the Corporate Capital Stress Testing team (CCST)  preparing JPMC’s Capital Plan to demonstrate capital strength under stress conditions as part of the regulatory Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Review (CCAR) framework.  

As an Associate in Planning and Analysis, you will be responsible for supporting ongoing stress testing activities, including the annual CCAR submission as well as quarterly capital stress test exercises. You will be a member of the CIB Capital Stress Testing team. The primary focus areas for this position will be to support ongoing stress testing activities, including the annual CCAR submission as well as quarterly capital stress test exercises. The individual will partner with colleagues in Corporate Capital Stress Testing, Risk functions, and line of business areas.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Preparation of executive presentation materials for CFO, CRO, and/or CEO 
•    Review roles matrix within the Automated Strategic Attestation Platform (ASAP) for accuracy and completeness
•    Contribute key insights in the development and implementation of standards for capital stress testing  
•    Maintain regulatory supporting documentation, methodology narratives, and standard operating procedures as needed
•    Perform ad-hoc analytical requests from senior management, other functions, and regulatory agencies

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
•    4+ years of corporate finance experience in banking
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint in particular)
•    Working knowledge of Income Statement and Balance Sheet with familiarity of associated banking products or willingness to learn
•    The candidate must be a creative self-starter who is able to meet deadlines under pressure in a fast paced and results driven environment
•    A detail-oriented problem solver with proven ability to evaluate processes, controls, and issues to determine and assess risks

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills: 
•    Experience with Databricks, Tableau, Alteryx, Essbase, Anaplan XL, or SQL a plus
