Our client is a 25-person AI-native insurance claims company building technology and operations for a massive global market. The business reached multi-seven-figure annual recurring revenue in under a year, has grown roughly 50% month over month, and recently raised a $50M Series A from leading venture investors.
We are hiring a Strategy & Operations professional to help scale claims operations. You will work directly with the CEO, turn ambiguous problems into structured operating systems, and help build the processes that allow insurance claims to be handled efficiently at scale.
What you'll do
• Own special projects and strategic initiatives in direct partnership with the CEO
• Build and formalize claims operations, including process design, hiring, and workflows
• Design scalable, data-driven processes that improve product and operational performance
• Lead cross-functional problem solving across product, engineering, claims, and business teams
• Bring structure, clarity, and execution discipline to diverse high-impact initiatives
• Identify important problems independently and drive them through implementation
Requirements
• Two to five years in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategy and operations at a recognized high-growth startup
• One to three years at McKinsey, Bain, or BCG, or equivalent experience at a leading investment bank, elite boutique, or top private equity or growth equity firm
• Evidence of entrepreneurial or unstructured experience, such as a startup role, side business, or founder experience
• Exceptionally structured, data-driven thinking with strong attention to detail
• Strong cross-functional communication and the ability to build trust quickly
• High intensity and comfort operating independently in ambiguous environments
• Willingness to work five days per week from the San Francisco office

• Co-founder, chief of staff, or business operations experience at an early-stage company
• Recent experience at a recognized Series A through Series C startup
• Knowledge of insurance or claims operations
