As a Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting country business management and providing strategic support for the MENA franchise, with a particular focus on MENA Investment Banking and the setup of RHQ in Saudi Arabia. You will partner with senior business managers, drive key business initiatives, and collaborate across lines of business and functions. In this role, you will help shape strategy, optimize performance, and enable growth in a dynamic, cross-regional environment. Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior business managers to support strategic initiatives and business priorities across MENA Investment Banking, Global Banking, and country-related projects
- Prepare and deliver strategic analysis, financial presentations, and business reviews for senior management
- Develop tailored presentations on the MENA franchise for Townhalls, senior visitors, and regulators by collaborating across lines of business
- Analyze and report key business trends, performance metrics, and financial results to support decision-making
- Support the setup and ongoing maintenance of the RHQ operating model based in Saudi Arabia
- Track and report P&L, expenses, and headcount for the MENA franchise, ensuring accurate monitoring and analysis of financial and operational metrics
- Maintain the deal pipeline for MENA Investment Banking, partnering with bankers to monitor progress against revenue forecasts
- Analyze external performance using Dealogic and other tools, including competitor analysis, and ensure consistency between internally earned fees and Dealogic credit
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and dashboarding to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with Planning & Analysis, risk, legal, compliance, and control teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective risk management
- Champion J.P. Morgan’s business principles and foster a healthy, inclusive working environment
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in business management, finance, strategy, or consulting within financial services
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, cross-regional environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable team player with strong project management skills
- Sound understanding of risks, controls, and governance processes
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
