We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Staff Strategy Analyst to join our dynamic Strategy team. The ideal candidate will be a high-potential individual with a proven track record from a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g., MBB or Tier 2) or a leading bulge-bracket investment bank. This high-visibility role is critical for driving strategic initiatives, informing executive decisions, and shaping the future direction of our business.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis & Modeling:
Lead the development of complex business models and financial forecasts (e.g., market entry, M&A due diligence, cost optimization) to evaluate strategic options and quantify financial impacts.
Design and execute quantitative analyses to assess market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal performance drivers.
Business Storytelling & Communication:
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and compelling business narratives for senior leadership and board-level presentations.
Own the end-to-end process of slide creation and presentation development, ensuring high-quality visuals and strategic messaging.
Project Execution:
Manage and drive core strategic projects from conception through to implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Finance, Product, Operations).
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
Technology Focus (Preferred):
Act as an internal subject matter expert on current and emerging technology trends (e.g., AI, Cloud, Digital Transformation) and assess their potential impact on the business.
Provide strategic input on technology investments and product roadmaps.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in a Strategy, Corporate Development, or equivalent analytical role.
Background: Prior experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or a leading bulge bracket investment bank.
Modeling Proficiency: Exceptional proficiency in spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel), including advanced financial modeling, pivot tables, lookup functions, and scenario analysis.
Data Analysis/Market Research Skills: strong ability to gather and analyze a variety of data sources, including but not limited to company financials, end user usage data, industry reports & expert interviews
Communication Skills: Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, with the ability to structure and deliver persuasive arguments and visually impactful presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry Experience: Prior experience in the Technology sector or experience advising technology clients is highly desirable.
Education: MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution.
We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas for this position.
The base pay range for this position is between $99,554.86 to $136,887.93 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental vision, 401(k), paid time off and a annual bonus structure.
