The Cyber Threat Intelligence team works with partners, both internal and external, in order to reduce risk to the Bank and to the financial sector at large. The team provides timely situational awareness, conducts deep analysis of threats, and translates indicators of threat into actionable information to reduce impact to the bank. Stakeholders include cyber-security response teams, internal lines of business, senior leadership, and external organizations such as law enforcement, industry peers and intelligence sharing partners.
The Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst position is responsible for conducting in-depth research, documentation, and intelligence analysis of key cyber threats to develop a comprehensive picture of the cyber threat landscape. This includes research via the use of various sources; development of historical, trend, and link analysis; and written and oral reporting to provide actionable intelligence and insights. The analyst will also work to proactively research new threats and establish trends and patterns among existing attacks to help predict future risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Intelligence Analysis
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of cyber threat actors, including nation-state, cybercriminal, hacktivist, insider, and emerging threat groups.
- Monitor geopolitical, technological, economic, and regulatory developments that may influence cyber risk.
- Assess the implications of major cyber incidents, vulnerabilities, campaigns, and disruptive events on the organization and the broader financial sector.
- Identify emerging trends and provide forward-looking intelligence assessments.
Intelligence Production
- Author strategic threat assessments, executive communications, intelligence briefings, white papers, and analytical reports.
- Develop concise, executive-focused products that communicate risk, impact, and recommended actions.
- Produce intelligence during significant cyber events to support leadership awareness and decision-making.
- Translate technical findings into business-relevant insights for non-technical audiences.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and maintain relationships with cybersecurity, technology, fraud, insider threat, business information security, and risk management partners.
- Support intelligence requirements gathering and ensure intelligence products address stakeholder priorities.
- Deliver intelligence briefings to technical and executive audiences.
- Represent CTI in cross-functional initiatives, working groups, and incident response activities.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, intelligence analysis, cybersecurity, fraud intelligence, government intelligence, or related disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Demonstrated ability to conduct strategic analysis and develop analytical judgments from diverse sources of information.
• Strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including nation-state actors, cybercrime ecosystems, ransomware operations, and emerging threats.
• Excellent written communication skills with experience producing executive-level intelligence products.
• Experience with briefing senior stakeholders and translating technical concepts into business language.
• Understanding of intelligence frameworks and methodologies, including the intelligence lifecycle and structured analytical techniques.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
