As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for MRO category sourcing in Asia Pacific region , including MRO supplies, PPE and safety supplies, Waste and Environmental categories. The role entails providing plan direction for AP procurement with Functional stakeholders and the Procurement team across Asia Pacific region to drive strategy implementation. Negotiating and managing agreements that optimize the total value for PPG in compliance with established purchasing policies, define implementation strategies and monitor compliance. Additionally, it involves coordinating with plant Operations team, developing procurement plan for each type and category. And you will report to Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1、Work directly with key internal stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing and cost management plan that support MRO project
2、Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms
3、Creating and implementing standard tendering documentation such as Invitation to Bid, Pre-Q, BOQ, TBE/CBE evaluation, and MOC/CR process. Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and capability criteria
4、Contract management & negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms
5、Work closely with Regional and global MRO team
6、Leading cross-functional teams in evaluating supplier performance, conducting audits, and implementing improvement initiatives.
7、Monitoring market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation and cost reduction.
Qualifications
1、3-6 years working experience in procurement sourcing with focus on MRO supplies role or related roles, experience in chemical manufacturing
2、Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related field;
3、Fluent English in both writing and speaking.
4、Strategic thinking that complements the broader business strategy in the region
5、Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement
6、Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, CPM)
