Job Summary:
The Strategic Sourcing Projects Lead is a key role responsible for executing enterprise-wide sourcing strategies and delivering measurable cost and value improvements. This position manages high visibility of cost savings initiatives, serves as the primary day-to-day driver ensuring high-impact results, working in close partnership with the Director and cross-functional stakeholders.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
Sourcing Strategy & Execution
Execute strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with the Director's enterprise-wide sourcing vision
Lead category-level sourcing projects from needs assessment through contract execution
Manage a pipeline of cost savings projects that meet annual spend reduction targets
Apply and continuously improve documented sourcing processes, tools, and templates developed by the Director
Negotiation & Contracting
Lead complex contract negotiations leveraging established negotiation planning frameworks
Ensure contracts are compliant, risk-appropriate, and aligned with Arconic's sourcing objectives
Escalate high-stakes or novel negotiation situations to the Director as appropriate
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with internal stakeholders across manufacturing, finance, engineering, and operations throughout the sourcing lifecycle
Translate business requirements into actionable sourcing strategies
Communicate project status, savings, and risks clearly to the Director and senior leadership
Supplier Management
Lead supplier evaluation, selection, and onboarding processes
Develop and maintain competitive, long-term relationships at high-performance standards
Team & Capability Development
Indirectly lead, coach, and develop broader Procurement Team on the Strategic Sourcing playbook and best practices.
Deliver or coordinate training programs to build internal capabilities in sourcing and negotiation
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
Reporting & Analytics
Track and report on sourcing KPIs, savings targets, and project milestones
Leverage sourcing tools and analytics platforms to drive data-informed decisions
Contribute to the development of a robust sourcing project funnel in collaboration with category management teams
You have: (required)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
5 –10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
Proven track record of delivering cost savings through supplier negotiations and category management
Experience managing and developing complex projects
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law fundamentals, and supply chain operations
Proficiency in sourcing tools, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite

- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.
