Strategic Sourcing Manager

This role manages all Raw Material Sourcing activities for designated categories of chemical for coatings, establish and implement the Raw Material Sourcing strategy through supplier management and team interaction.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish/deploy sourcing strategy for designated categories of chemical for coating by integrating business strategy and implement the strategy accordingly
• Take accountability to do supplier development and manage new or existing supplier, reduce or eliminate single source and manage supply risk
• Master suppliers and material category portfolio, it's upstream feedstock and downstream applications' market outlook and react to market change for strategic sourcing direction
• Manage contract negotiation or RFP(bidding process) for total ownership cost reduction and follow contract strategery review and contract approval and documentation process in e-pro
• Develop innovative sourcing approaches using Cost Value analytics and Strategic Sourcing Plan (SSP) knowledge to determine scenarios, benefits, risks and change management impact of each of those options
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline, Master's degree/MBA is preferred
• Minimum 6+ years of procurement or purchasing experience is required
• Fluency in local language and English is required
• Data analysis and financial knowledge is required
