Strategic Sourcing Manager

As a Strategic Souring Manager, you will manage all Raw Material Sourcing activities for designated categories of chemical for coatings (detail portfolio to be confirmed later), establish and implement the Raw Material Sourcing strategy through supplier management and team interaction. Portfolios can be of a value between 50 and 150 million USD's depending on complexity and experience. You will report to Senior RM Procurement Manager, your location is in Tianjin

Key Responsibilities

• Establish/deploy sourcing strategy for designated categories of chemical for coating by integrating business strategy and implement the strategy accordingly

• Take accountability to do supplier development and manage new or existing supplier, reduce or eliminate single source and manage supply risk

• Master suppliers and material category portfolio, it's upstream feedstock and downstream applications' market outlook and timely react to market change for strategic sourcing direction

• Develop innovative sourcing approaches using Cost Value analytics and Strategic Sourcing Plan (SSP) knowledge to determine scenarios, benefits, risks and change management impact of each of those options

• Share and support as appropriate to Procurement SBU Liaison or Site Procurement Operation team market information, sourcing strategy, key projects and supplier performance and working capital improvement

• Provide price list with details required to Procurement Data team

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of procurement experience

• Bachelor's degree or above

• Fluent English

• Future leadership potential outside of procurement

• Data analysis and financial knowledge
