Now you have an extraordinary chance to join our Sourcing Team in the most exciting journey of building an independent and standalone company. As we are currently demerging from Tietoevry, you will play an incremental role in building up a stand-alone Sourcing function.

You will join a skilled, diverse team of over 20 sourcing and purchasing professionals, collaborating to drive innovation, excellence and continuous learning. You will be responsible to drive Software and technology related sourcing initiatives for Tietoevry Tech Services, by having a structured, highly collaborative & impact driven working approach.

Key responsibilities:

• Actively seeking new opportunities for sourcing initiative pipeline and executing strategic sourcing initiatives, focus on software licensing agreements
• Taking the lead in planning and executing strategic sourcing initiatives, cultivating strong collaboration with Stakeholders
• Sourcing business partner for designated business stakeholders
• Developing category plans to capture short- and long-term business opportunities with financial impact and plan the execution of sourcing initiatives
• Proactively lead, plan and drive negotiations, particularly for larger, complex sourcing initiatives
• Managing and securing up-to-date information for supplier contracts
• Supplier management for designated suppliers. Drive and develop strategic supplier relationship in collaboration with stakeholders
• Provide direction to buyers on suppliers and contracts, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency in the purchase-to-pay process.
• Constantly seeking for opportunities to simplify and work in more efficient way
• Contributing to overall team performance as active member of the sourcing team

Personality & working style:

You are an engaging and business-minded sourcing professional with extensive experience of strategic sourcing within technology and a proven track record of negotiating significant sourcing initiatives and supplier management to ensure execution of the negotiated deals:

• Doer who has bias for action & delivering impact – highly structured way-of-working, impact-oriented approach and independent (self-starter) working style
• Influencing and presenting skills – you have ability to communicate effectively both with executives and specialists and genuine desire & ability to deliver business impact to the company
• Highly analytical & fact-based – you can both see the big picture, identify long term trends and to drill down to drivers when needed. You use data to drive real business benefits and bring speed to decision making and execution
• Result oriented project manager - Being able to identify new opportunities to create impact, prioritize the work and secure successful implementation of these initiatives
• Highly skilled in negotiation, indirect influencing and selling ideas in complex matrix organizations.
• Team player who can contribute to teamwork, also in areas outside of own direct responsibilities
• Can-do attitude, strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach

Experience & education:

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience with a proven track record of negotiating significant sourcing initiatives within technology and managing global suppliers
• Experience in working with global software suppliers is preferred
• Experience in software licensing from infrastructure, security and compliance, and cloud based -solutions business models is preferred
• Proven negotiation skills
• Experience in building and managing strategic supplier relationship
• Experience of managing spend and using TCO (total cost of ownership)
• Experience from working in international organization with complex business models and matrix organization
• M.Sc. from relevant field
• Fully proficient written and verbal English communication skills
