Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Solution Consultant to join Solution Sales. The team whose mission is to accelerate revenue growth by ensuring deals and new customers move from first conversation to committed, confident buyer as efficiently as possible.

You will work closely with Business Development and Account Management, while bringing together technical advisory and solution narrative to shape and deliver the best possible customer outcome.

The role you'll play

Your mission is to accelerate revenue growth by making Solution Sales the reason deals close faster and customers succeed sooner.

You are accountable for commercial-technical outcomes: helping Business Development and Account Management translate LanguageWire's product and technical capabilities into a compelling, tailored narrative.

You will own the customer-facing solution experience across:

  • Solution narrative and market positioning tailored to industry, deal size, and customer maturity
  • Custom content and tailored solution approaches
  • The connective work between Sales and Technical/Product, surfacing customer and market signals into Product discussions and translating technical constraints back into sales-ready language

Your role is to identify the most valuable customer and deal problems, understand them deeply, and help Business Development, Account Management, and Technical/Product solve them.

The team you'll be a part of

You will be part of a team that unites Solution Sales, Onboarding, and Technical Advisory as one team, while preserving individual specialization lanes in core solution selling or technical/product advisory.

Business Development and Account Management are your primary internal customers: they own all deals and customer relationships throughout, and your job is to make them more effective, faster.

We are a well-established, growing team with a great variety of competences, experiences, and preferences. The goal is to help Business Development and Account Management close the right deals faster, by combining solution narrative, technical translation, and structured coordination with Technical/Product.

In 6/12 months, you'll know you were successful if…

  • You can point to a clear deal involvement rate, the share of qualifying deals where Solution Sales was engaged and to the won deals that involvement influenced
  • Win rates on deals with your involvement clearly outperform those without it, segmented by deal size tier
  • Requests from the field are triaged quickly, and most are resolved without directly disrupting Development
  • Business Development, Account Management, and Technical/Product all see you as a trusted bridge, someone who makes deals move faster without overloading Product or Development

Desired experience and competencies

What does it take to work for LanguageWire?

What you'll need to bring

You are an experienced solution sales or presales professional, comfortable operating at the intersection of commercial and technical conversations.

You have experience with B2B solution selling, technical-to-commercial translation, or presales/solutions consulting, and can demonstrate deals or customer outcomes you influenced.

You:

  • Start with the customer's problem, translate technical capabilities into commercially compelling narratives, and adjust the pitch to deal size and customer maturity
  • Working knowledge of AI/LLM-driven technologies (e.g., machine translation, generative AI), and the ability to translate their capabilities and limitations into a credible, commercially compelling customer narrative
  • Work effectively with Business Development, Account Management, and Technical/Product, and communicate clearly across all three
  • Adapt quickly when the real problem differs from initial assumptions, applying strong judgement and a consistent focus on quality
  • Have +3 years of commercial/sales experience in B2B solution selling, gained within the language service industry (LSP/LSI), a language technology/localization environment
  • Strong commercial/sales methodology toolbox that you have experience with putting into use in customer situations
  • A structured mindset, keeping overview and ensuring progress on several tasks simultaneously
  • Strong willingness to work in a dynamic and ambitious environment with an informal tone
  • Are a strong, actionable communicator, fast learner with an analytical mindset
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

This will make you stand out

Success in this role is measured through outcomes, not content produced:

  • Successful deal involvement across deal size tiers
  • Coordination efficiency between Sales and Tech/Dev
  • Expertise in Media & AI Video localization, alongside deep TMS/localization portfolio, is a strong plus, as is proximity to Product's roadmap and the ability to advise proactively on feasibility, timelines, and positioning of new capabilities.

Our perks

  • Enjoy flat hierarchies, responsibility and freedom, direct feedback, and room to stand up for your own ideas
  • Internal development opportunities, ongoing support from your People Partner, and an inclusive and fun company culture
  • International company with over 300 employees. Offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Stockholm, Varberg, London, Leuven, Lille, Paris, Valbonne, Munich, Hamburg, Atlanta, Helsinki, Turku and Valencia
  • We have a hybrid work model called FlexiWire. We offer weekly flexibility, working three days in the office and two days from home. Together with your team, you can coordinate which days to collaborate in the office.
  • We take care of our people and initiate many social get-togethers from Friday Bars to Summer or Christmas parties. We have fun!
  • Around 20 great colleagues in the Leuven office belonging to different business departments
  • A bright renovated office space with a splendid view of the city of Leuven
  • Close to the station and city center with a spacious kitchen for lunch or an informal chat
  • Events and teambuilding activities throughout the year (BBQ, breakfast with the team, etc.)
