The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the end-to-end delivery of data projects for technology customers, from scoping through to shipping. The work combines creative sourcing and partner negotiation with building the operations, contributor management and quality processes that keep delivery running. It is a high-ownership position on a very small team.
What you'll do
- Deliver multiple datasets to customers end-to-end, covering scoping, sourcing, qualification, contributor management and shipping.
- Identify companies that hold useful data and negotiate partnerships with them.
- Deliver code-related datasets and simulated environments grounded in real software engineering work.
- Build and grow delivery operations, including processes, contributor and full-time staff management, and quality control.
- Own project economics, with performance-based variable pay linked to delivery quality and speed.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Prior experience in human data delivery, whether through an internship, a full-time role or something comparable.
- 0 to 5 years of experience, with a track record of ramping quickly on ambiguous problems and shipping.
- Creative, commercially minded approach to sourcing, including negotiating with partners and using unconventional channels.
- Detail-oriented executor who can manage delivery, contributors and quality control at the same time.
- Ability to work fully in person on-site, with openness to relocating.
Bonus points
- Experience with code data, coding reinforcement learning environments or software engineering evaluations.
- Prior project lead or general manager experience at a human data company.
- Background in statistics, data science or technical product management.
- Consulting or investment banking background with an interest in operations or founding-team work.
