Your Role 

The Office of Growth team leads enterprise-wide coordination and execution of the organization’s growth strategy across markets and lines of business. The Strategic Planning and Performance Principal will report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Planning and Performance under the Office of Growth and play a critical role in operationalizing growth priorities, ensuring alignment across business units, and enabling executive governance. In this role, you will serve as a central driver of growth strategy execution by establishing structured governance, leading strategic planning processes, and ensuring transparency of priorities, risks, and outcomes across senior leadership forums.

Responsibilities

Your Work 

In this role, you will: 

  • Governance & Operational Enablement of Growth Strategy 
    • Lead governance and operational enablement of the enterprise growth strategy across markets and lines of business 
    • Support planning, coordination, and facilitation of executive governance forums including CEO Monthly Business Review (MBR) 
    • Establish standardized processes, reporting, and performance tracking to ensure visibility into operational, outcomes, and risks
    • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure execution against operational priorities and commitments 
    • Partner with executive stakeholders to synthesize insights, escalate risks, and enable data-driven decision making 
    • Ensure continuity and follow-through of action items, commitments, and performance outcomes across governance cycles 
    • Supports the development of materials for enterprise leadership forums and Board level discussions related to growth performance and strategy
  • Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management 
    • Support end-to-end strategic planning processes including intake, prioritization, backlog management, and roadmap development 
    • Develop and manage enterprise and line-of-business growth roadmaps, including 3-year strategic plans and annual operating plans 
    • Facilitate prioritization frameworks that balance enterprise objectives, market needs, and resource constraints 
    • Partner with business, finance leaders and Stellarus to develop business cases, quantify impact, and support investment decisions 
    • Implement structured planning disciplines to drive accountability, transparency, and execution rigor across initiatives 
  • Markets Priorities and Initiatives 
    • Drive Markets strategic priorities and initiatives as assigned 
    • Partner with Markets leaders and cross-functional teams to define initiative scope, objectives, milestones, and success measures 
    • Coordinate execution across stakeholders, clarify accountabilities, and drive timely completion of deliverables and decisions 
    • Monitor progress, dependencies, and risks; escalate issues and provide clear updates and recommendations to Markets leadership
Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience 

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree 
  • Requires 10 years of prior relevant experience 
  • Requires experience supporting executive-level governance forums (e.g., MQBRs, senior leadership reviews) 
  • Requires strong strategic planning, portfolio management, and prioritization expertise
  • Requires experience working in payer/provider or healthcare growth strategy environments 
  • Requires demonstrated executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and impactful executive-ready PowerPoint presentations; proficiency in Excel for data management, analysis, reporting, and decision support
  • Ability to influence across senior leadership and drive enterprise-level alignment is desired
