About the Role:

As a Strategic Partnerships lead at Extend, you’ll be focused on securing strategic deals with brands and retailers in Apparel, Beauty and Footwear industries. In collaboration with GTM, Product, Strategy, Marketing and Sales teams, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping and refining our value proposition, product strategy, and positioning to expand value in the market. This role reports to the VP of Strategic Initiatives, who leads strategy and execution across new products, markets and verticals at Extend. 

The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for developing new market segments, helping define, impact and execute GTM strategies, and closing new business opportunities that drive revenue for the business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Win new business: Build and manage your own pipeline to drive revenue within a book of strategic retail accounts in the apparel, beauty & cosmetics, and footwear industries. 
  • Manage complex, cross-functional sales cycles by building multi-threaded relationships within an organization from C-suite executives to ICs. 
  • GTM strategy: Spearhead expansion by identifying new use cases, stakeholders, and product messaging that improves results in the market. 
  • Refine the sales methodology by incorporating learnings into best practices, identify messaging and strategy improvements that optimize sales productivity and consistency.
  • Product strategy: Develop a deep understanding of how Extend’s product platform works, future product roadmap, and product expansion opportunities. 
  • Inform product roadmaps and features by gathering customer feedback and conveying market needs. Provide insights that strengthen our value proposition and enhance customer experience. 

What We're Looking for:

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales or consulting experience, with a proven track record of managing relationships with complex, strategic accounts.
  • 2+ years of opening new markets or taking new products to market.
  • Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to engage C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Consultative sales approach with focus on understanding key business challenges and crafting tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Exposure to eCommerce, retail, shipping/logistics, payments, or adjacent industries.
  • Exceptional cross-functional management skills to work with internal product, strategy and operational teams to achieve results.
  • Strong understanding and passion for emerging technologies and AI
  • Available to travel on-site to customers and for tradeshows/events throughout the year.
  • Ideally located in SF / Bay Area.

Expected Pay: $150,000 Base Salary, plus $150,000 annually for On Target Earnings (OTE)*

*The base salary and expected OTE for this position are listed above. OTE is payable based on the Company's variable sales compensation plan; employees who exceed annual sales targets may receive additional compensation. Incentive compensation will be provided as part of a total compensation package.
