Role Overview

We're seeking a results-driven Strategic Partnerships Manager to develop and manage critical business relationships that will accelerate Massive Bio's growth in Germany. This role combines relationship management, business development, and strategic thinking to build partnerships that directly impact patient access to innovative cancer treatments.

Key ResponsibilitiesPartnership Strategy & Development
  • Identify and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and clinical research organizations

  • Develop partnership proposals and business cases that align with both Massive Bio's growth objectives and partner needs

  • Lead partnership negotiations and contract development in collaboration with legal and commercial teams

  • Create structured partnership frameworks that can scale across multiple pharmaceutical relationships

Relationship Management & Growth
  • Manage portfolio of strategic partnerships ensuring successful execution and mutual value creation

  • Serve as primary point of contact for partnership escalations and strategic discussions

  • Drive partnership expansion through upselling additional services and identifying new collaboration opportunities

  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to optimize performance and identify growth areas

Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Clinical Operations team to ensure seamless trial launches and execution

  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to incorporate partner feedback and requirements

  • Work closely with Business Development team on lead qualification and opportunity development

  • Support Marketing team with partnership announcements, case studies, and thought leadership content

Market Intelligence & Strategy
  • Monitor competitive landscape and partnership trends in German clinical trials market

  • Provide market insights and partnership intelligence to inform business strategy and product development

  • Track partnership performance metrics and ROI to optimize collaboration models

  • Identify emerging opportunities in oncology research and pharmaceutical development

Ideal Candidate ProfileEssential Experience
  • 3-5 years in partnerships, business development, or account management within healthcare, life sciences, or B2B technology

  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder business relationships

  • Understanding of clinical trials ecosystem including pharmaceutical companies, CROs, or research institutions

  • Track record of partnership growth with measurable results in revenue, client satisfaction, or business expansion

Preferred Background
  • Experience in pharmaceutical services, clinical research, or health technology partnerships

  • Background in oncology, rare diseases, or specialized therapeutic areas

  • Previous roles at startups or high-growth companies managing strategic accounts

  • Understanding of German business culture and healthcare regulatory environment
