We are seeking a Strategic Financial Analyst to support our on-premises infrastructure spend. This role will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and forecasting related to our on-premise technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and experience with technology infrastructure costs.
You Will:
- Monitor and analyze on-premises infrastructure spending trends, identifying areas of cost savings and efficiency improvements. Develop an understanding of our platform and cost structure to support our user base.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting infrastructure expenditures and resource utilization.
- Build forecasting models for Opex/Capex
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on Opex and Capex, including variance analysis and explanations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders (Foundation, Capacity and Accounting teams) to develop cohesive financial plans (such as annual operating plan and mid-year forecasts)
- Perform cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations for infrastructure investments like DC expansion, internal unit cost of compute vs cloud etc.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures related to infrastructure spending.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests as needed.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably with a focus on technology infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, with a willingness to learn other tools & software languages. Experience with Python, SQL, or other analytical software is a plus, but not required
- Strong analytical skills and ability to distill robust datasets into concise and meaningful insights and trends
- Track record of prioritizing and managing multiple projects and priorities
- An eye for efficiency and gravitate towards automating manual processes
- Intense curiosity about understanding key drivers of a complex business with eagerness and motivation to make an impact on the business

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
