Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a dual role, combining Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) expertise with a strong focus on strategic finance initiatives. This individual will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of the company, providing insights, and driving informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support key business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and consolidate financial information for reporting purposes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and variances.

Strategic Finance:

  • Work closely with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives and contribute to overall business strategy.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate potential investments, partnerships, and other strategic opportunities.
  • Assess and analyze market trends, competitors, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide recommendations on capital allocation, resource optimization, and business growth strategies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic and achievable financial goals.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve budgeting accuracy and align financial goals with business objectives.

Financial Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to reconcile financial data and address discrepancies.
  • Present financial reports to internal and external stakeholders, communicating financial performance and trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Proven experience in FP&A and strategic finance roles, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
