As the Strategic Execution Business Operations Vice President on the Data & Analytics Strategic Execution Business Operations Team, you will be instrumental in driving daily initiatives and managing the execution of the organization’s strategic priorities. You will act as a liaison with staff, assist in decision-making, and manage cross-functional programs. To succeed, you'll need a proactive mindset and creative thinking combined with superior judgment and executive presence. You will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders, questioning the status quo and taking initiative to drive strategic solutions. Your ability to navigate organizational complexities, thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, be comfortable with ambiguity, and resolve challenges will be key to your success. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and independently own and execute initiatives within the Data & Analytics Organization from inception to completion. 

  • Apply structured problem-solving skills to address top strategic priorities. 

  • Lead working groups and brainstorming sessions to support leadership decision-making. 

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, driving implementation of changes. 

  • Collaborate with team members across LOBs, central teams, and corporate functions to turn strategy into action, drive accountability, and remove blockers. 

  • Prepare executive communication materials and present project analyses to senior executives. 

  • Develop and operationalize key metrics to measure success and enable strategic solutions. 

  • Ensure compliance with approved risk and controls processes. 

  • Drive day-to-day problem solving to facilitate recommendations and push the team’s agenda. 

  • Utilize organization and planning expertise to prioritize tasks and resolve challenges. 

  • Understand the leader’s intent and take initiative in the absence of specific instructions. 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: 

  • Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of experience in a business, analytics, or operations-related function. 

  • Consulting orientation with strong client engagement skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence business partners. 

  • Solid analytical skills with a strong commercial orientation. 

  • Creative problem-solver with the initiative to develop strategic solutions. 

  • Commercial, pragmatic mindset with the ability to translate strategy to real-world applications. 

  • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change. 

  • Planning and coordination skills to manage multiple projects effectively. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to multi-task. 

  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Experience communicating with both business and technical stakeholders.

The CCB Data & Analytics team responsibly leverages data across Chase to build competitive advantages for the businesses while providing value and protection for customers. The team encompasses a variety of disciplines from data governance and strategy to reporting, data science and machine learning. We have a strong partnership with Technology, which provides cutting edge data and analytics infrastructure. The team powers Chase with insights to create the best customer and business outcomes.
