Strategic Account Manager (Market Data)

Financial institutions depend on accurate and well-governed market data. Once implemented, the real value lies in how that data is governed, optimised and expanded over time.

We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager who takes commercial ownership of our existing client portfolio and develops it with structure and discipline. This role is about long-term value creation – not support, not ticket handling.

You will take responsibility for accounts approximately six months after contract signing and develop them with a clear land-and-expand strategy. Your primary objective is near-zero churn combined with structured account growth.

You bring commercial focus, seniority and market data expertise to complex stakeholder environments where decision cycles are long and expectations are high.

What you will be responsible for :

You act as the primary commercial point of contact for your accounts, maintaining oversight of contractual scope, usage and licensing, and proactively identifying expansion or optimisation opportunities.

  • Developing and executing structured account plans

  • Driving near-zero churn across strategic accounts

  • Identifying, shaping and realising upsell opportunities

  • Leading quarterly business reviews and executive-level conversations

  • Managing market data licensing discussions with confidence

  • Acting as the commercial owner of the account after transition from Sales

  • Professionalising and developing strategic integration partnerships

You will bring structure to our strategic integration partnerships by defining clear collaboration frameworks, aligning joint propositions and ensuring measurable contribution to our commercial objectives.

What you bring :

  • 3+ years of experience within market data

  • Experience in a commercial account management or strategic relationship role

  • Strong understanding of market data licensing and governance

  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments

  • Professional fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written)

You combine relationship management with commercial discipline. You are comfortable challenging clients when needed and can translate customer input into structured internal follow-up.

Growth :

You will help elevate the professionalism of our account development and partner strategy. As we expand further across Europe, your role will grow in strategic importance.

Growth here means broader responsibility and deeper strategic influence – not additional hierarchy.

What we offer :

  • Base salary between €65,000 and €80,000 per year, depending on relevant experience and commercial track record.

  • On-target commission between €15,000 and €20,000 per year (uncapped, based on full time employment) in year 1.

  • We start with a 12-month contract, with the intention to continue with a permanent agreement upon mutual satisfaction.

  • Eligibility for participation in our Virtual Stock Unit (VSU) program after 7 months of employment.

  • 27 paid days off (full-time basis), pension scheme, annual education budget and hybrid working.

  • Limited international travel (approximately 5–10%).

  • The possibility to work from our Motivation Center in Piedmont, Italy.

Application process :

You will receive a response to your application within 48 hours.

The process consists of two interviews. We aim to complete the process within three weeks.
