DuPont is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and driven Stores & Receiving Associate to work at our Yerkes Plant, located in Buffalo, New York, which is the North American manufacturing home of Corian® solid surface products, introduced in 1968 and the founding manufacturing location for Tedlar® polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) films, introduced in 1961.

As a Stores & Receiving Associate you will be responsible for the safe and timely reception, unloading, and delivery of materials across the site.

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:​ 

• ​Assemble and prepare off-plant shipments, arrange carriers, set up and expedite all foreign and domestic shipments

• Fill reservations and kits for the maintenance team

• Perform weekly cycle counts for inventory

• Conduct full inventory counts and recounts as required

 JOB QUALIFICATIONS​ 

Requirements:​ 

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required

• Willing and able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice

• Willing and able to wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) including a respirator

• Willing and able to lift and move objects that weigh up to 55 lbs (25 kg)

• Willing and able to climb multiple flights of stairs, multiple times per day

• Willing and able to work on elevated surfaces climbing open vertical ladders

• Demonstrated proficiency using computers and interfacing with display screens

• Must have a valid driver’s license

This position has a current starting rate of $22.83 and will increase to $25.95 once qualified.
