ACDC Express is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager to lead the daily
operations of our store. The successful candidate will be
responsible for driving sales, managing staff, overseeing
financial performance, ensuring operational excellence, and
delivering exceptional customer service while upholding the ACDC
Express brand standards.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong commercial
acumen, excellent people management skills, and a passion for retail
and customer service.
Store Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and
operational standards.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, merchandising, and
stock control.
- Oversee inventory management and operational
efficiency.
- Assist with sales activities during busy trading
periods.
- Manage store budgets and monitor financial performance.
- Analyse sales and profitability.
- Prepare and submit financial and operational reports.
- Drive profitability while controlling costs.
- Drive sales performance and achieve store targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and
suppliers.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Ensure customers receive exceptional service at all
times.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team.
- Manage staff scheduling and daily performance.
- Conduct coaching, mentoring, and performance
management.
- Support employee development through ongoing training.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and Franchise Service
Consultant.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on promotional
activities.
- Liaise with HR regarding employee-related matters.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- A qualification in Business Management, Retail Management or a
related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a retail supervisory or store management role
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, POS/till systems)
- Experience managing a team of 5 or more staff
- Valid driver's licence advantageous
- Clean criminal record (essential)
