The Opportunity:We are seeking a skilled Storage Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this W2 role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and maintaining our storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in storage solutions, a passion for technology, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Job Responsibilities:- Design and implement storage solutions that meet company and client requirements.
- Manage and maintain storage systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues in a timely manner.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.
- Evaluate and recommend new storage technologies and solutions to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
- 5+ years of experience in storage engineering or related field.
- Deep knowledge of various storage technologies (SAN, NAS, object storage, etc.).
- Experience with storage management software and tools.
- Strong understanding of data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certifications such as NetApp, EMC, or similar.
- Experience with cloud storage solutions.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
