PingWind is seeking a STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) Compliance Specialist responsible for ensuring that the organization's IT systems and applications adhere to DoD (Department of Defense) security standards. This role involves conducting compliance assessments, implementing security controls, and maintaining documentation to meet STIG requirements.

Responsibilities
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
· Conduct thorough compliance assessments of IT systems, applications, and networks against applicable STIGs.
· Identify and document security vulnerabilities and non-compliant configurations.
· Implement and configure security controls in alignment with STIG requirements.
· Work with IT and development teams to ensure systems are configured securely and in compliance with STIGs.
· Strong knowledge of STIG requirements and DoD security standards
· Experience with compliance assessment tools and techniques
· Proficiency in configuring and securing IT systems IAW STIG requirements
· Provide technical guidance and support for the implementation of security controls.
· Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of compliance activities, including assessment findings, remediation actions, and status reports.
· Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory authorities as required.
