STEM Project Coordinator (m/f/d)  

(Part-time; 19.25 hours/week, limited; 19 months) 

The Student Life and Support Department develops and implements programs that foster student growth, community engagement, and educational outreach. Through partnerships with schools and external stakeholders, the department supports a variety of STEM initiatives and activities. We are seeking a STEM Project Coordinator (m/f/d) to support and further develop these projects.

Your responsibilities: 

• Assistance with academic management (project implementation, project evaluation) 

• Further development of STEM projects and German school activities (e.g., Maker Space, MINTernational Workshops; MINT-EC High School network; MINTforum Bremen) 

• Coordination of respective workshops and events 

• Support with the acquisition of third-party funding 

• Coordination of external partner network and further network activities 

• General communication to students (development of online information, planning and organization of events) 

• Monitoring the activities and preparing relevant statistics and reports (project database) 

• Undertaking any associated administrative tasks as assigned 

Your qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) 

• General knowledge of office administration, including MS Office programs  

• Excellent written and spoken English and German 

• Ability to initiate and implement projects independently and as part of a team  

• Experience in working with high school and/or University students 

• Well-organized, detail‐oriented, and flexible 

• Highly motivated, creative and communicative with a keen interest in working in an international and dynamic environment
