Goodwin University Magnet School Systems is searching for a full-time STEM Elementary teacher. This role will allow the educator to deliver engaging, hands-on educational experiences to upper-elementary students in a flexible environment. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as the desire to work in a growing school-district. This unique position fosters curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and innovation while introducing students to STEM concepts and career pathways through real-world applications.
The STEM teacher collaborates with classroom teachers, administrators, community partners, and local industry to support district STEM initiatives and ensure equitable access to high-quality STEM education for all students.

Instruction and Program Delivery
- Deliver engaging, hands-on STEM lessons for students in upper elementary school
- Work with the CTE Director on a variety of projects for Goodwin University Magnet Schools.
- Work with the CTE team at Goodwin University Magnet Schools or a variety of projects (curriculum writing, pathway development, and other program initiatives).

- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Career and Technical Education, Technology Education, Engineering, STEM Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or ability to obtain appropriate certification.
- Experience teaching STEM (preferred)
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage students through experiential learning.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, industry partners, and community organizations.
- Strong technology skills, including educational software and digital presentation tools.
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, equitable, and welcoming learning environments.

Goodwin University Educational Services, Inc. (GUES) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting quality public education and providing opportunities, support, and services to children in its community and the State of Connecticut. It specializes in the review, planning, and development of career technical education pathways and manages activities related to magnet schools on behalf of Goodwin University and its Trustees.
