The Statutory Consolidated Financial Statement Specialist will be part of the Corporate Finance, Administration & Control team and will support the Group consolidation and reporting activities.
Key responsibilities:
The person in this role will be involved in reconciliation and consolidation activities, covering both the preparation of the related accounting entries and the analysis and reconciliation of intercompany balances. They will also perform variance analysis and be responsible for drafting the notes to the annual financial statements, interim financial statements, and supporting documentation for management reporting and data analysis.
A central part of the role involves ensuring that financial statement items comply with international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS).
The candidate will also serve as a key point of contact for coordination with internal stakeholders — particularly the AFC, Controlling, Treasury, ITS, and Tax functions — as well as for liaising with external counterparts such as Payroll and Business Functions. They will manage relationships with external auditors and other supervisory bodies, interface with other Group companies, and actively contribute to the function's development projects.
Functional Knowledge and Minimum Experience:
1 - 2 years of relevant experience gained in consolidated financial reporting departments or within audit firms;
Solid knowledge of international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS);
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken;
Good proficiency in the main Microsoft Office applications;
Knowledge of SAP and Oracle consolidation systems will be considered a plus.
Additional and Soft Skills:
The ideal candidate is flexible, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, even under pressure, while meeting deadlines with a high degree of autonomy and strong organizational skills. Solid analytical capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills are required, enabling effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
A strong command of IT tools rounds out the profile.
Employment terms:
The role is classified at Level D under the National Collective Agreement for the Chemical-Pharmaceutical Industry (CCNL Chimico-Farmaceutico). The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is € 32.950,40.
The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
