What You'll Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing vendors
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
- Collaborate with internal teams - Marketing, Operations and Product - to ensure successful execution management, growth and retention of vendors
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM systems
- Report on sales performance, forecasts, and growth opportunities to Head of Sales
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
What You'll Bring
- You have proven experience in business development, sales, and account management with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- You have solid experience developing and managing client relationships
- Understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and negotiation techniques
- You bring strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in combination with excellent negotiation and influencing abilities
- You are self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- You have solid commercial awareness and financial acumen and are able to identify opportunities and turn them into winning partnership
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling business
- Experience within Sales, Finance, Solar, electrical is highly advantageous
