Your Role
As the leader of your state, you'll drive commercial performance, develop high-performing leaders and create exceptional guest experiences across a portfolio of boutiques and surplus stores. You'll foster a values-led culture and ensure every store consistently brings the Assembly Label brand to life. This full-time role is ideal for a commercially minded leader who is passionate about developing people, building meaningful connections and leading with purpose. Regular travel throughout your region is required.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop, Cluster Managers, Retail Business Managers and Leaders.
- Build a high-performance culture centred on accountability, development and engagement.
- Identify and develop future leaders through succession planning and coaching.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and values-led team culture.
Commercial Performance
- Deliver sales, profitability and wage outcomes across your region.
- Drive performance through strong execution of Conversion, IPT, ATV and guest experience.
- Analyse business performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure disciplined management of labour, productivity and operational costs.
Guest Experience
- Bring our Community Connections philosophy to life in every store.
- Coach teams to create meaningful guest experiences that build loyalty and advocacy.
- Lead through presence, observation and in-the-moment coaching.
Operations
- Ensure operational excellence across all locations.
- Partner closely with Head Office across Product, VM, Marketing, Operations and People & Culture.
- Lead new store openings, closures, refurbishments and business initiatives as required.

Skills Required
- Proven experience leading and developing multi-store/area retail teams (Cluster Managers, Retail Business Managers)
- Track record of delivering sales, profitability and wage outcomes across a region
- Ability to drive conversion, IPT and ATV and improve guest experience through coaching
- Strong people leadership skills including succession planning, coaching and engagement
- Operational management experience including labour management, productivity and cost control
- Experience analysing business performance and identifying growth opportunities
- Ability to lead new store openings, closures and refurbishments
- Willingness to travel regularly across the region
- Collaborative experience working with cross-functional Head Office teams (Product, VM, Marketing, Operations, People & Culture)
