Your Purpose:

Reporting to the Stakeholder Engagement Lead, this role will involve supporting stakeholder engagement activities across major aviation projects, ensuring structured, strategic engagement across diverse stakeholder groups, including regulatory bodies, airport operators, airlines, service providers, construction contractors and government agencies.

The successful candidate will typically work alongside senior stakeholder engagement professionals, supporting engagement planning, communications, and risk mitigation across aviation transformation programmes, business and supply chain change initiatives, and infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Map and analyse stakeholder environments (internal and external) for clients.
Assist in the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies and plans for aviation transformation and infrastructure projects.
Support engagement with airport operators, regulatory agencies, airlines, government bodies, service providers, construction contractors and other industry partners.
Maintain stakeholder mapping tools, engagement logs, and risk registers.
Coordinate and support workshops, stakeholder forums, and engagement meetings, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
Proactively support interdependencies between stakeholders and project activities to mitigate risks and support operational alignment.
Assist in the preparation of briefing materials, presentations, and engagement reports by working with clients leads, project subject matter experts, and communications specialists.
Work closely with project teams to embed stakeholder engagement within business change and communication strategies.

What you can bring:

Essential:

  • Strong interest in stakeholder engagement, communications, or public affairs within aviation or infrastructure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn from experienced professionals and develop expertise in stakeholder engagement.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Change Management Public Affairs, Business, Engineering, or Aviation).
  • Experience in aviation, infrastructure, or business change projects is beneficial.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and stakeholder engagement principles.
