This role will have a direct impact on PSA Ops, the core software that powers PSA’s grading operations, in a business experiencing tremendous growth and record demand. You’ll help solve the unique technology and operational challenges that come with scaling at this level, where massive volume, complexity, and customer expectations create an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

We are looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager who is practical, ambitious, and empathetic, with the ability to understand complex domains and drive teams toward exceptional outcomes. You’ll lead strategic, cross-functional programs from inception through delivery, partnering with engineering, product, design, and operations to align priorities, manage dependencies, and drive execution. Your work will have impact beyond the teams you support, directly influencing PSA’s ability to scale its operations and support the continued growth of the business. 

You’ll work from our Santa Ana or Jersey City office. Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaboratively partner with other teams (Engineering, Design, Product, Business stakeholders, etc.)  in the product development lifecycle to shape and prioritize product plans that solve customer problems in ways that deliver on company goals

  • Focus on the most mission critical, high priority initiatives with a focus on business and technology objectives

  • Provide best-in-class communications about project inception, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders

  • Develop  and run training and educational programs to help transform organizational practices.

  • Design and share processes and documents that provide maximum autonomy for development teams while maintaining a level of standardization that allows the company to scale.

  • Combine superior communication skills with the analytical horsepower to break down complex, ambiguous problems and possess a strong will to be resourceful and get stuff done

  • Solve problems with a focus on automation and process improvement, creating efficiencies as you work

  • Contribute to the strategic roadmap prioritization processes with key stakeholders and deliver success management with multiple stakeholders

  • Support our developer operations environment so we can continue to create new businesses and migrate existing ones, scaling our businesses across the globe to new heights

  • Understand the customer and advocate for them

Who You Are:

  • 8+ years of product management and/or technical program management experience in a modern product or engineering organization operating in an agile environment.

    • Preferred: Experience working on hardware, logistics, manufacturing, or other operationally intensive products and/or software programs. 

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools such as Jira or other work management software.

  • Depth in experience of technical program management practices including coordinating dependencies across teams, reporting on milestones, outcomes, and blockers, and leading successful releases/deployments across complex initiatives

  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools such as Claude Cowork, Glean or similar technologies in day-to-day work to increase efficiency, accelerate execution, and improve outcomes. 

  • Strategic, highly collaborative leader who can rally teams around shared goals, navigate ambiguity and competing priorities, and drive measurable customer and business impact. 

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. 

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $151,341 –$220,480. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
