We're looking for an exceptional Staff Software Engineer to join our Consumer Underwriting Crew— a hands-on technology leader who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges, shaping technical strategy and delivering high-quality solutions at scale.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will:
Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure and resilient solutions using .NET/.NET Core and AWS.
Drive architecture and technical design for cloud-native platforms supporting our Consumer Underwriting capabilities.
Own solutions end-to-end—from design and development through to deployment, production support and continuous improvement.
Partner with Product Owners, Architects and Engineering Leads to shape technical direction and platform strategy.
Mentor engineers, raise engineering standards and foster a culture of technical excellence.
Champion DevSecOps, automation and engineering best practices.
Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to improve software quality, developer productivity and delivery outcomes.
We're looking for someone who brings:
Extensive hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using .NET/.NET Core and C#.
Strong solution architecture and system design capability, with experience building scalable distributed systems.
Deep knowledge of AWS and cloud-native application development. Experience designing secure APIs, event-driven architectures and highly available enterprise platforms.
Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and modern software engineering practices.
Proven experience leading complex technical initiatives and delivering business outcomes end to-end.
A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction across multiple teams. Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or similar to accelerate software delivery.
