- Embed DevSecOps, automated testing, observability and reliable CI/CD practices.
- Provide technical direction, unblock delivery and help the squad make sound engineering decisions.
- Mentor software and senior software engineers, strengthening quality, consistency and engineering capability.
- Collaborate with product, business and technology stakeholders to translate complex needs into practical solutions.
We’re interested in hearing from people who:
You’re an experienced software engineer who combines deep backend expertise with pragmatic technical leadership. You can move comfortably between architecture, hands-on engineering, operational ownership and coaching, while keeping customer, security and compliance outcomes front of mind.
You’ll bring:
- Strong hands-on Java software engineering and system design experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing and operating microservices and REST APIs in production.
- Practical AWS and Amazon EKS experience, including containerised workloads.
- Experience with CI/CD and Git-based development, ideally using GitHub Actions.
