The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer with a strong interest in and background in front-end web development. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, you will be a critical player who makes a meaningful impact and the technical decisions you make matter.

Skills Required
- At least 5 years of hands-on front-end experience building commercial applications.
- Strong background in front-end web development (TypeScript, React, Next.js).
- Experience with Node.js.
- Experience with Vite, TanStack Router, TanStack Query, and React Hook Form.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS and Material UI.
- Experience with Vitest and Playwright for testing.
- Experience integrating Stripe, Firebase, and Sentry.
- Ability to make sound architectural and design decisions at a staff-engineer level.
- Forward-thinking, pragmatic adoption of AI for development workflows.
- Product- and UX-focused mindset.
- Built something significant from the ground up.
- Proficiency with Python or a similar backend language.
- Experience setting up and improving CI/CD infrastructure.
- Interest in parking, urban space efficiency, or related domain problems.
What We Do
Parkade's core focus is multi-family buildings and offices, allowing management to easily lease spots digitally through our app to residents, guests and employees. And, when people lease assigned spots long-term, they can reshare their spot when it's vacant — hugely increasing parking capacity and reliability. We are replacing spreadsheets and manual, antiquated processes and helping our customers grow revenue. The broader mission is focused on making parking easier, managing it better, and create more space for affordable housing, parks, and more walkable cities.
